Please be advised that the South African Library for the Blind is currently experiencing challenges with the circulation of books to Library Members due to a system malfunction. The IT Section together with Service Providers are working around the clock to resolve the matter.
In the interim, to ensure a service is still being rendered to our Members, a manual system is in place and we request our Members to kindly bear with us, as this may entail fewer quotas being sent out to meet current requirements. The Library is also aware of unconfirmed delays at certain Post Offices and this is also escalating the circulation problem. Once the system malfunction is resolved, an updated communication will be sent to Members.
SALB apologises to all Members for any inconvenience this has caused them. Members are also welcome to submit any inquiries to the general email addresses: firstname.lastname@example.org; email@example.com and these will be attended to.
